All of the capabilities and some that must be new work in my Windows 7 installation. I would suggest that if you haven't, that You might want to go to the HP website for the dv5
drivers. When I went to the that site and selected the Vista 32-bit
drivers, everything worked well. Prior to that the blue wireless light at the right upper part of the keyboard, didn't show as blue(indicating works correctly) until I downloaded and installed those
drivers.
Next I noticed that when I ran the default balanced power mode -- I hope I said that correctly -- that the display dims after no key use for a some time -- then brightens when you start using the computer.
I am not sure I have helped You. Finally I also installed all video drivers as well. If you need more detail I will have to get that for you. I am glad to help You anyway I can.
