Actually, it does... Gigabyte has a wait... Flash Thingy option in the BIOS (i think it's F9) QFlash i got it.. you put the BIOS file you want to update into any USB drive (correctly formatted), reset your machine, press F9 at BIOS startup, select the device, the file and that's it... but Mike already gave the OP a good method.. so, i wouldn't say it's dangerous
