Deleting/formatting the Windows 7 partition should be enough. Normally, your bootloader is installed on the first partition (XP) so after deleting it, you will still see the 2 options at startup, (winxp or Windows 7) but Windows 7 won't work.
To fix that, you can use BCDEDIT since boot.ini won't work, and remove the Windows 7 entry from the bootloader. |
