With the i7, you can no longer use software to identify your VID (the voltage that each chip reports it needs to run at stock). Each chip is different but between 1.12-1.2V is the average stock voltage.

Before adjusting the voltages, download CPU-Z and see what it's currently running at:

CPUID

(If you still have speedstep enabled, the voltages should still be fluctuating)
