My best guess is ... it should help. Seems like the jury is still out on that. Some folks report serious lag at startup as the flash drive tries to integrate itself into the system. Others say if you use a good high quality flash, lag is not a problem. Since you're using some heavy duty apps I would personally think it will help ... but how much help is an unknown factor.
