I'm inclined to believe it is a driver issue. In safe mode, windows loads with only the minimal necessary drivers for it to work. Therefore, perhaps it is a driver that is causing the shutdowns. I would suggest you update all drivers for hardware and software and see if it continues. If not, we could enable driver verifier in an effort to identify the offending driver. But, doing that may require a reinstall and someone from crashes and debugging to read the dump files. You may have dump files in the current situation. You can find them in C;/windows/minidump. open that folder and Copy and paste the contents to your desktop (requires Admin approval). Right click them and select send to - compressed zip folder. also follow the instructions for posting in crashes and debugging. If updating drivers does not work, upload the mini dump and files from crashes and debugging in a new thread there.
