I HAD thesame issue that all of you did...
I uninstalled my norton AntiVirus and after a reboot I installed the Cisco software again...
the 5.0.04.0300 build installed correctly and did not bluescreen after a reboot. I was also able to connect.
After all that, I re-installed the symantec software and not both of them still work
