Since it is a windows feature, can you try enabling it in windows before rolling your eyes and shedding tears?
Option one in that tutorial is pretty straight forward.....
I followed the instructions but still no luck. Actually when I click hibernate, it locks my computer.
I am giving a screenshot of my hiberfil.sys file. Look at the screenshot. It says that hiberfil.sys has a size of 2.99 GB. But according to this tutorial Hibernate - Enable or Disable
says that hibernation file (C:\hiberfil.sys
) will be the same as the amount of installed RAM on the computer. I have 4 GB RAM. Is it weird?
