thanks. Wish I could have found a diff reasonable prices extenal here. I saw to delete the WD volume in disk management (or such), then format it.
Will make a few copies of the recovery.
This is good to know..

mjf, were you able to remove everything installed by the wd drive when you first plugging it in? Or does it?
