I'm a bit late to the discussion, but I want to assure you that Classic Shell doesn't change any system files. It is called "Classic Shell" because it offers classic features (like toolbar, start menu, etc), and not because it reverts your computer to a Classic theme. It uninstalls cleanly without the need of a restore point.

And yes, to answer the OP's question, you can add a command prompt button to the Classic Shell toolbar.
