I ran the ISO boot option in EasyBCD, it booted the XP ISO, but then I got a BSOD, the 0x0000007B one. I googled for it, it seems the problem is the SATA drivers! I saw a guide and changed the "RAID Auto/AHCI" to "RAID Auto/Compatibility" in BIOS, but still I got the same BSOD. It says:
0x0000007B (0xF78D2524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)
Then I got the SATA drivers from here
First I tried loading them from the USB drive, but they only load from a floppy disk, and even my desktop doesn't have that. So I slipstreamed them into the setup files using nlite, made an ISO, and booted from that (using EasyBCD) but I still get the BSOD. Will it be the same if I boot from the DVD? If so, then it'll be impossible to install XP.
I don't want to run it in VMWare, I want to run XP directly. Then it'll use less resources and I can play some games as well.
Edit 2: Looks like I've got the wrong drivers for the model I have. There's a different driver for all the different models?
