As far as i can tell, every other computer in the house is getting connected to the internet properly. They all have the IP set be acquired automatically and are connected wired. I started getting this problem only after i connected this computer to a different network, namely my school's network. From that point on i had to set the IP manually to get the internet to work. So i don't think it's the router's problem, rather the windows' or the ethernet adapters'.

How would i go about checking if DHPC is disabled in IPv4?
