Hi hhazzard,

It appears that there is a 'software conflict' due to a program installed on the computer. Please try to perform clean boot and recheck results; a clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts. You may refer to the following 'Microsoft Article':
How to perform a clean boot to troubleshoot a problem in Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8

If the issue persists, you may also try updating the 'display drivers'.
