Will try this out tomorrow and give some feedback. I wonder - is this a permanent "Take Ownership" or when I boot back to Win7 will it change it back to Win 7's permissions... hmmm.

I did find a workaround: Just don't link (include or move) the DATA drive My Documents, My Music, My Pictures and My Videos folders to the Win 7 Folders of the same name and use them like any other folders til I commit to Win 7.
