Need to format Windows 7 disk

I have a Western Digital sata HDD with Windows 7 RC installed on it. I need to format it, an put XP on it so I can use the Windows 7 upgrade disk as soon as it comes out. I tried DBAN and it would not do it. Is there a program out there that will let me format this hard drive?

Well I'm still not 100% certain that RC will not qualify for the upgrade. It is only my guess that it will not.

If you happen to need XP installed you could boot from the XP install disc and use the procedure during install to format the hard drive that way.

All of my systems still run fastest on XP 32-bit for the most part. Win7 is fun to play with, but I still prefer XP for raw speed, security, and functionality.
