You don't really have to burn an .iso if you aren't going from a 32 bit version to a 64 bit version or vice versa.
Put the files in a different partition or burn them to a DVD. You can run the install from within your current OS and still format the partition using the Disk Options button on the bottom right of the partition page during the Custom install.
Doing that might invalidate your update ability, if the being able to do a clean install from an upgrade is not correct or changes for some reason. |
