I've already tried a manual install of the driver downloaded directly from toshiba. I've tried windows xp and vista drivers for the same card to see if they would work, but to no avail.

The wireless card is an Atheros AR5007EG
My system information is as follows:

Manufacterer: Toshiba
Model: Satellite L305-S5875
CPU: Intel Pentium Dual T2390 @1.86, 1.87 GHz
Memory: 3.0 GB
Hard Disk: 200 GB

*note: my ethernet connection does work. I've tried the windows troubleshooter for my wireless card, but it didn't really help. I've also uninstalled the driver for the wireless card and restarted multiple times to let windows re-install it, but my wireless internet still doesn't work. It displays "no connections available" but my card is enabled with full bars, and appears to be functioning properly. Any ideas?
