I just tried it again and Explorer crashed again. What is going on?
Sorry,i should have said.
Go to command promt via start menu>all programs>accessories>Command promt>Right click and Run as admin.(this is called elevated command promt)
Then run the sfc /scannow command line and see what it shows up,it should say it found a problem and fixed it,it found a problem and could not fix it or it found no problem.

If it did find a problem,then enter this into elevated CMD
findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log >%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt
Then upload the file placed on your desktop so we can have a look
