When I installed Win 7, all of my files were Read Only, I could not alter any of them. I had to go through this. I don't know if you have tried this. Take a folder, right click and then click on Properies. You will see a Security Tag. Click on the Edit button. Change the priviledge and click OK. You probably have done this, but just thought I would ask.
