If it was "only" this, i would agree with you, but afaik there should be no credentials needed to do a normal ping.

And as i describe above, if i connect FROM "lap" TO "Game", it works with no problem, and i can connect FROM "Game" to "Lap". However, if i try to do it the other way around, i only get an error with the computer not found.

Code:
Pinging lap.workgroup [192.168.0.13] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 192.168.0.30: Destination host unreachable.
Reply from 192.168.0.30: Destination host unreachable.

Ping statistics for 192.168.0.13:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Is what i get when i try to ping the laptop from the desktop.

After doing a ping Game from the laptop, this is the result:
Code:
Pinging lap.workgroup [192.168.0.13] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 192.168.0.13: bytes=32 time=1ms TTL=128
Reply from 192.168.0.13: bytes=32 time=2ms TTL=128
Reply from 192.168.0.13: bytes=32 time=1ms TTL=128
Reply from 192.168.0.13: bytes=32 time=1ms TTL=128

Ping statistics for 192.168.0.13:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 1ms, Maximum = 2ms, Average = 1ms
This last for.. well.. about 2-5 minutes if i do not continue any traffic between the two computers. Then its just like the wireless disappears. (Surfing/whatever works fine all the time, its the connection between the two computers that stops).

I am not able to ping the other laptop from "Lap" at all.. nor the other way around (since they are both on the wirless ap).

Fun times eh? :P
