garysgold Vista Ult 64 bit Seven Ult RTM x64 3,205 posts Maine, USA	Hi Lonny, Welcome to Seven Forums. Really you can do it either way. I usually install the drive and partition in the present OS. Then do the install. I let the install do the formating. But that's just me. Gary
