Thank you for your thoughts. Actually I'm using one of the SSD drives. Windows states that the driver is up to date. I guess these don't defragment

Rebooting Windows corrects the problem for at least a little while. I did not see any other applications locking up at the same time.


Thank you again. I'll see what becomes of it.
