Microsoft Window 7 Professional 32 bit

No worry, get rid of that sptd.sys, you don't need it. Don't choose the update option, choose the remove (uninstall) option
The reason I wanted you to remove sptd.sys is because they are well known for causing BSOD. Unfortunately, Deamon tool and Alcohol 120% use it.
If you need alternative program, I will 100% sure you can use MagicDisc, It doesn't have sptd.sys, -->no BSODs, I gurantee, and it's free too

Again, You choose remove option, not update or install the sptd.sys OK

You ram is ok, be sure that you did use the tool to remove AVG as well. They would not be removed completely if you use the add/remove feature of window
