I read the article and well I ran memtest a few test ago without any errors. The windows is newly installed. Latest drivers for video card. Latest bios too.

The post beep is 1 short 1 long even if I switch gpu, ram, psu. It will be 1 beep if i use a pci-e x8 gpu but I cant enter BIOS. The same is with my normal setup I cant enter bios unless I reset the cmos and it only works temporarily.

I have a guess that it's the CPU that is causing this. Is there a way to know for sure without switching it?
