System Restore not showing more restore points after clicking the box

    Hello everyone

I recently ran Advanced System Optimizer 3 and optimized my system in a hurry. Without thinking and to my regret, I did not manually create a system restore point before doing this.

I have noticed several changes (albeit non-major but nonetheless uncomfortably different) with my use.

    1. Certain thumbnails/links which are supposed to have images on them now appear to be broken (that paper torn in half sign instead)

    2. Hotmail's autocomplete whenever you start typing an email addresses' first few words no longer functions.

I have yet to discover more irregularities but as far as I know Advanced System Optimizer must have removed or deleted something after I clicked optimize now which is causing all these.

I tried to system restore it to a time before I actually ran the optimization which was about 9 am on 9th of November 2011 but all I see is an 11 am restore point on the same day in the restore point list. When I click show me more restore points, it does not show me more but remains with just the 1 point which I've said.

Is my case already a goner and it's already too late to turn back or is it possible to somehow access more previous restore points? It would be better still to access a 8th of November 2011 restore point (which again presently shows only the 9th of November point and nothing else), BEFORE I did a scan of the system even and just revert everything to how it once was.

Here's a follow up to my case, I've managed to solve problem no.1 as I found out that it occurred in almost all websites I tried to access. It mainly showed the HTML coding instead of all the usual colours and decorations. So what I did was hold shift and click refresh and it solved everything including the thumbnail not appearing issue. Apparently after doing this everytime I returned to those sites it didn't give any problems.

The Hotmail issue still persists though. I am quite an email heavy user and find this quite annoying. Whenever I click reply, it's as if I'm composing a completely new email with no address in the bar, no RE: subject and no previous incoming email which I can refer to in replying that email. The autocomplete email address email still persists.

    Any help on this?

Edit: It all eventually solved itself.
