serious problem with backup & restore

    Hello all,
I have a big problem with creating backup in windows 7. After opening backup & restore from control panel when i press "Back up now", then nothing happens. when i press "manage space" or "change settings" then also nothing happens". I deleted my previous backup and a file named "media been" manually from the backup drive. how can i backup again now? please answer me.....

With system restore, go back to a date when the Back Up worked.

Run this until the report says cannot fix any more errors. It does not fix all at once
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

The account is corrupted, use the sfc that I gave you. If that does not work, open a new account and close the old.

or if you have the install DVD. You can do a repair.
