    Restore Point: Other Route ?

    Hello,

This relates to a Post of a few days ago, but cannot find it to add this to it.

I would like to resurrect a program and some files that I uninstalled and deleted about a month ago.

Had bad experience with using a Restore point some time back, and guess I am reluctant to go that route again.

What I am wondering is: if going back via a Restore Point does actually grab the old stuff that I want again, it's obviously in my system, somewhere.

So, is there any other way of getting to it without the Restore Point route ?

Some utility program that does it, perhaps, without duplicating what the Restore Point does ?

    Thanks,
    Bob

Unless you made back ups, there are two ways to get those programs
    SR which changes the OS.

System Image, which will change the entire hard drive.

I can give a list of software that would do the job, but you had to backup with it first.

Here is an added gift for you
    Program Recovery ?

    From OP:

    Hi,

O.K., guess I'll try the Restore Point.

Let me say again a quick thanks for your help now, as well as all the help you've given me in the past.

    Really appreciate it.

    Regards,
    Bob
