Advice please on restoring Win 7 Pro from system image

Having ongoing seemingly uncorrectable problems with my Win 7 PRO 64 bit system. Prinarily...I can not get the current HP printer/scanner drivers to uninstall/unload and/or can not get the current HP drivers/program system install download to correctly install. This is the only issue and can not get any reply from the HP customer support forums ?

Had Windows backup set to also save backup & system image weekly...but apparently it didn't work because of the size of the external usb drive partition.

So...I have a good image from early July but it was created by Seagate's Disk Utilities by Acronis systems.

The image is on a separate hard drive in the box.

I can access...explore...etc the image from my working C: system via Acronis without issue. Question is...how do I restore this Acronis image from the internal F: HDD drive to my current default Win 7 install on the C: drive ?

I've looked though SevenForum tutorials...but still not be sure of the procedural order of steps ?

How do I eliminate the problem C: drive working isntall...and then get the Seagate (Acronis) save image on drive F: (Seagate 640G) to my current C: (Hatachi 750G) drive.

It appears there are only 2 or 3 programs I will have to reinstall that are not on the F: drive image.

    Thanks....TR

Wipe the HD of any possible infected or conflicting code first: SSD / HDD : Optimize for Windows Reinstallation

Boot the Acronis disk and reimage from storage location to target HD. Make any desired changes in partition structure when offered.
