Windows 7: Software to backup Nokia phone on my Windows 7

Hi friends ,
This is a little out of our forum question but my last resort is my friends at 7 forum.
Here is the question:
i'm using a Nokia N72 & trying to backup its data onto my windows 7 but due to some reason it can backup everything except the messages. I'm using the latest Nokia PC Suite for Windows 7 & here's the report after i ran the back program today & i get the same every time.
Report:
Backup log:
Date and time: 10/3/2010 18:52
Backup saved to file:
E:\N72\BackUp 10.2.2010\BackUp2(messages).nbu (1.2 MB)

The phone model-specific backup includes:
- Messages

The following content cannot be copied to other phone models:
- Text messages
- Multimedia messages

So i want to know the best free software that can help me to get the right. Though i googled & landed up on oxygen software & its a paid software. Help would be appreciated. Thnx
