Quick question regarding Macrium Reflect

Hi peeps, Just got a couple of quick questions im hoping someone might be able to help me out.

1. I just created an image of my laptop with Macrium which was encrypted with truecrypt, anyway it went through the restore process told it to use the mbr from the backup but when it came to boot i entered my truecrypt password then it comes up "No operating system found" just dont no where i went wrong? Luckly i created another image when i did a fresh install and restored that which was not encrypted and it seemed to work fine.

2. My main query is where is the MBR installed? Is it always installed on the partition that is marked "active"

3. When i did a fresh install of windows 7 64 bit on my desktop machine i like to have 4 partitions, 1 for OS, 1 for music & pics, 1 for apps & 1 for games. The thing was it kept telling me i need to allow 200mb for windows system files so it kept making a 200mb partition for these files which meant i could only create another 3!!! Any idea why it does this? ( i did manage to delete this in the end but now i just have 250mb of unallocated space on my hd)

Many thanks, hope you can shed some light on this for me
