i can not do a system restore.

Well i have noticed that when i try to do a system restore that it always says it cant find the restore files or something along those lines.I have tried to do a restore from control panel, safe mode, startup and it always brings up the same box .system restore could not restore your computer to a earlier time.I was curious if they are some way i could fix this. The computer creates restore points and i can see them but no matter which one i select it will never complete

Either SR is turned off or you do not have enough space for the points.

If you find that it is, indeed, turned on report aback and maybe we can help.
Are you storing the points in a partition, without enough space/
Are you or some software defragging the partition with the points?
