    Hi there
works fine (but I've gone back to W7 build 7137 for other reasons).

T use Workstation rather than Home because "I already had it" and don't really need to spend another 70 USD on a program which normally is 100% working and reliable.

The get around in the post works fine.
    Cheers

Im not sure about Echo Workstation version of Acronis True Image, but as I recall in Home version there is an option to make a recovery bootable media cd, and that cd is all you really need in order to make drive/partition images. You boot from this cd into a fully GUI enviroment and you can then select wizards that will take you step-by-step through the tasks of creating or restoring images of discs or partitions. I much prefer this way of doing windows install images to making them from within windows.

    Hi jimbo,

Which get around are you referring to? I have workstation and 7100 64 bit, but I would like to get a later version of x64. I also have Home v12, but need to use Universal Restore to enable me to do a clean install on one machine and the restore to another rather than doing a clean on both.

    Many thanks,

    Silver
