Need to restore an image using macrium - help pls

Hi, I need to restore an image I used and I saved the image on an external hard drive using free macrium.

After I made the image I upgraded to windows 7 but I have had a real problem getting wifi to work so I figure I will go back to the way it was.

Can I do that? Problem is that I have a new OS and there is no optical drive to allow for a restore disk to be used - can I use a restore USB?

Is that possible? Thanks!

It seems an ISO can be created that can then be put on a bootable USB stick.

Sorry if I offended you but I didn't recognize your screenshot was in the link I referred to. How do you use the link you gave to make a Macrium linux boot USB from the Macrium boot iso?

Did you post a query in our General forum about your WiFi to see if others could help you get it running in Windows 7. It may need a different driver, full software package, or either installed in Compatibility Mode

Were networks detected? Did you run the rightclick>troubleshooter on the network icon in SysTray?

Are you saying you used
USB Windows 7 Installation Key Drive - Create

with the Macrium linux boot iso to make a Macrium boot USB? If so I must be doing something wrong.

Or the Macrium link I pointed to which I know works?

hi - no it seems the link has changed? thats weird...

The macrium website has a short tutorial how to download the iso to USB - using unetbootin I think...

anyway - best fix is to go to the macrium website and search for the USB boot loader - worked great.

Thanks
