[SOLVED] Cannot see a folder for backup

I'm using Cobian Backup to backup important directories and this application can't seem to see one of the folders I want to backup, Windows Live Mail. When I search, I can find it: C:\Users\MyLogin\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail. However when I browse in Cobian Backup, it doesn't list AppData as a subfolder of C:\Users\MyLogin.

When I browse outside of Cobian Backup, I have the same problem. There's a lock icon on C:\Users\MyLogin but MyLogin has "all permissions" for this folder.

Any debugging pointers would be gratefully received.

[SOLVED] The folder AppData was hidden. See richc46's solution below. [\SOLVED]

Many thanks. The folder was hidden. Unhiding it worked.
