Norton Ghost 15 Does anyone use Norton Ghost 15? I am currently just using the built in backup with Windows 7. I have used Ghost in the past (well then it named Norton Save & Restore) and had a lot of luck. BUT I have read mixed reviews with Ghost 15. | My System Specs |

Not sure of Ghost 15 is a good product, but I used Ghost 2003 while on XP, then changed to PING or Clonezilla and never looked back. | My System Specs | | OS Microsoft Windows 8 Professional CPU AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 965 Processor Motherboard ECS A790GXM-AD3 Memory 16.00 GB Graphics Card AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB Sound Card (1) C-Media PCI Audio Device (2) AMD HD Audio Monitor(s) Displays LG LS192WS Screen Resolution 1440 x 900 @ 32bit color Keyboard Dell SK-8115 Mouse Razer Copperhead PSU Corsair HX620 Case Thermaltake V4 Black Edition Cooling Cooler Master Hyper 212 + Artic Silver 3 on CPU/GPU Hard Drives (1) ST31000524AS SATA Disk Device (2) ST3500413AS SATA Disk Device AHCI mode enabled. |

I too used Ghost 2003 on XP, but since I've been on Seven, I have used Acronis TI. I also use Paragon Drive Backup professional I got in a giveaway. I have successfully restored from Acronis, so have not needed to confirm a restore from Paragon. Many here also use Macrium Reflect free. A Guy

Another vote for Acronis, I always create an image before upgrading anything so that I can get back to where it works. Has saved my bananna's many times. I do an image of my C and also my D each week to external usb/esata drives that I rotate each week.
I buy my acronis from the User Group Store at ugr.com as it is cheaper and well supported.
I have no connection to them, just good people and good prices.

I used Ghost14 during my Vista times. it did the job. The controls are a bit complex and not always obvious, but the recoveries worked as expected.
In Windows 7 I use free Macrium. That is a lot easier to use and also a lot faster. And it has never let me down (in about 50 recoveries). Why pay money if you can get a better product for free. It does, however, not do incrementals (which I hate anyhow). Most all image backup programs, Norton, acronis and others have a built in option to create a bootable CD so that you can boot your system and restore your image.
