    Windows backup issue?

    Hello all,

I have a general question about Windows Backup. I backed up my computer using Windows Backup a few months back, using my external hard drive. I want to backup my computer again, but I don't know if the new back up would replace the old backup, or if it would add to the original backup file.

When I tried it one time, it seemed to be making a brand new backup file. Is there a way to make it so that Windows Backup adds new files to the old backup file?

    Thank you,

    Kyle

Don't think so, but you can delete the old one once the new backup has finished, if you worried about space.

Do you mean a file/folder backup or a system image backup.
