    Backup and Restore

I'm using Acronis True Image Home 2010. I Image my C drive into my 2nd Hard drive 2nd partition. I restored my image to my 2nd Hard Drive 1st partition. Rebooted and my Windows 7 1st Hard Drive came up and then I shut down, removed my 1st Hard Drive and rebooted and got "Bootmgr is mission". I put back my 1st Hard Drive and booted into Windows 7 and went to Disk Management and where the image was restore has no drive letter and I can't give it one. So I figure I did something wrong.

I don't know what options you set with Acronis.
You have ended up with two conflicting OSs and probably assigned the 1st HDD disk signature to the 2nd HDD. Windows will reassign one of the disk signatures. Bottom line is you end up with a mess.

To get back to your original state. Mark the active partition on the 2nd drive inactive and either:
    1) Run system repair up to 3 times on the 1st HDD (preferably with the 2nd disconnected) or
    2) Reimage 1st HDD with the image you have on the 2nd HDD.
