how do I backup everything

I seen that some one got the Intel toolbox to install how did he do that on the 64bit??? I have tried a thousand times in many different ways and Nada! I am doing something wrong?

The next after that would be how do I back up every thing so my games on program drive do not need reinstalling? I have like 22 games and I am not talking about big-fish games here lol, now most are on steam some on windows live games, but would like to do fresh install with out loosing anything except for the headaches of old drivers lol. Thanks for help if you can, I have never had a system worthy of backing up till now so this has never been done by me, ever!

P.S. the tool box Question lol never mind that one! had to update firmware, feel stupid on that one. I bought this drive a while back and there was a firmware update then toolbox installed and seen the drive!

These tutorials can help show you how to use the different backup features included in Windows 7. For what you are wanting, I would recommend to create a system image onto a separate HDD.

I ask, this will restore everything right? I have more Hdd's than sense lol. I have a total of 10tb of storage so not worried about space just want everything the way I have it now jst would like a fresh install, I switched boards and went from Intel Qx9650 to AMD X4 970be and think there mite be so messed up drivers do to the switch, besides the SFC scan is there another way I could check or clear out the old Intel stuff?

Yes. A system image is a complete clone of the selected HDD's to be included when created. When you restore the system image that you created, the HDD's in the system image will be restored completely and exactly (partitions and all files) as it was when the image was created. :)

It's always recommended to do a clean install anytime you change motherboards. The installed Windows 7 from the older motherboard will usually never run or run properly on a new motherboard.

I would recommend to create a system image after the clean install on your new motherboard.

Thanks again sorry to ask twice just never did it before and you know how sometimes you ask a question and the answer seems to be what you are looking for but just would like to double check lol. I think this would be the best after board replacement right?

No problem. It's always best to ask and make sure first than to just jump in and be sorry later.

I would manually backup (copy and paste) any files that you do not wish to lose first though. After you replace the motherboard, you are going to need to do a clean install of Windows 7 since you cannot use the old installation on a new motherboard. After the clean install of Windows 7 and installing all your drivers, programs, and such, then create the system image backup.
