can't uninstall 2 programs after system restore

I uninstalled old versions of 2 programs (Photoshop CS4 and Firefox 3). I then found out I did something wrong and did a system restore to earlier that day. The system restore went fine and I recovered what I needed to. Those 2 programs were back in my "installed programs list" so I went to uninstall them again, but this time when I press the uninstall button nothing happens. Also if I try to open the programs nothing happens.

So they are there taking up harddrive space but I cant uninstall or open them.

How can I uninstall them now?

Thanks

Unable to open programs after system restore
Hi there. Last night, I foolishly forgot to disable automatic updates and when I woke up to use my computer in the morning, alas, a magnitude of drivers suddenly stopped working. I quickly turned to a system restore, but that's when things somehow got worse. Now, when I boot up my machine,...

System shut off during McAfee uninstall, can't run system restore
So, about an hour and a half ago now, I was tasked to help remove some annoying anti-virus stuff from my mom's computer. So, I start uninstalling McAfee. At this point the cord was stretching across the room, so I decided I'd pull out the charger to put it on my lap. I didn't realize the battery...

System Restore and Programs that were installed before restore
After doing a system restore I noticed a couple of programs I had installed were gone. This is not a problem because I do not need them. My question is are the programs completely gone or are there still parts of them on the hard drive somewhere? The programs were a Mal-ware remover (Emisoft) and...

succesful system image restore but no programs installing
I just installed a ssd harddrive. Windows (7) backup discs ran fine. System image restore seems to have worked fine, only thing is programs are not showing up. This is my first time doing this and everthing I read, prior to, lead me to believe the programs would be included in the system image. ...

Computer won't run any programs and system restore keeps failing
I'm writing this from a different computer because I can't even get onto the internet on mine. Pretty much all programs fail to run. When I double-click on the icon, I get the usual spinning "loading" circle and then nothing happens. When I try to open straight from a saved file, I get an...

Programs will not run, including System Restore
So today I let my computer do the obligatory windows update that it tells me it's time for every so often. I let it reset and install. Later on, I'm minding my own business, cruising the net, not even going to any sketchy sites, when all of a sudden BOOM, AVG tells me it's found a trojan, and is...
