    Windows Backup Question.

I was doing some research and it seems like the backup built into Windows 7 uses something similar to a disc image, I was wondering if I had a dual boot system using the same disk (different partitions) with Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 if it would make a functioning backup of both or just 7?

If you have tried this or have any ideas on it I would appreciate any input.

I don't use that particular product, but the typical imaging product would give you a choice:

    Image partition A

    Image partition B separately

Or image both together--in a single image.

Even if I could combine them, I wouldn't. Sounds like it's begging for complications.

I dual boot XP and Win 7. One HD two partitions. The system image backup makes an image of each partition.
