Sounds like the recovery partition is limited to work along with a separate recovery disk if there is no preprogrammed restore to factory bios option. Or something is lacking ?

Sometimes the preinstall simpy doesn't go well and the units are simply pushed out onto the store shelves. This is one reason why the advice for any laptop user is to look into creating or purchase of a full recovery disk if none are provided.

Thanks everyone for all of your suggestions and help. I was able to fix my computer without paying the money for the recovery disks. All I had to do was turn the computer off and thenturn the computer on while holding the 0 (Zero) key down. This started the recovery process again. After running the recovery again everything is back the way it was.

That's good to hear! You may still want to try the Recovery Disk Creator to see if that will work for you or consider ordering one to have onhand just in case you are not able to repeat the same success at some later time however.

Some manufacturers once provided with your customer information will only charge for shipping costs since you already paid out for the license over buying a new disk at retail price. That would still be one option open if the disk creator tool fails to make a good one up for you.

Good to hear the "long shot" I referred to actually worked.
