Can Acronis TrueImage or another one can back up/restore to HFS+

I am thinking to get TrueImage or another similar software.
The thing is, I want to use a folder in an HFS+(Mac OS X Extended Journaled - Snow Leopard) partition as a back up partition.
I am using MacDrive, so I am able to read and write from Windows, but I don't know if any software has the capability to restore the image from an HFS+ drive (from boot DVD especially).
Has anyone any suggestions and advice on this?

Try using the free edition of Macrium Reflect and see what happens.

The image file is just another file. If Macrium can see it, I'd think it could restore from any partition on which the file is found, but you can find out at no charge in an experiment.

Yes, I haven't thought of that.
I have nothing to lose by trying out that way.
    Thanks.

UPDATE: I found out that TrueImage is not capable of backing up to non-NTFS.
And also I learned that if you have a hybrid (EFI/MBR) MBR partition (GPT), TrueImage or Macrium Reflect wouldn't work. Only choice is Clonezilla so far.
