Can I tell how long my system backup took to complete?

    Hello,

I just switched my backup drive from USB 2 to e-sata. Is there someplace on my PC that will tell me how long the backup process took to complete?

    Thanks

    Stu

Try Macrium. It will rell you at the end of the backup - like this:

You should find the information in
Event viewer > Windows logs > Applications

I along with millions use the inbuilt imaging software and file/folder backup. I've lost count of the number of images AND successful restores using it. This includes restoring to a Brand new HDD (child's play).

I wouldn't trust any imaging software fully. As a safeguard I also use Macrium Reflect as a secondary imaging program. It can be more flexible at times.

Thanks to all who have replied. I have found the data in Event viewer > Windows logs > Applications.
I will also take a look at Macrium

    Thank
