    will a restore point restore windows to previous version?


    Hello.

    I wondered. if i created a restore point on Windows 7 Home 32bit then updated to Windows 7 ultimate 64bit would that restore point restore Windows back to the home edition?

    Putting it simple No you would end up overwriting the 32 bit so it would not even be there.

    You cannot upgrade from Windows 32-bit to Windows 64-bit, it has to be a clean install.
