I have tried several times to back up using Windows "Backup and Restore" and it fails. I get the next message:

Welcome
Follow the advice given, make the check disk. If no problem is found make sure that you have enough space for the back up.

You appear to have enough space on the destination disk. You should check both the destination and your OS disk. A file system check then the longer scan for bad blocks.
Both can be run from
Computer > right click partition > property > tools
Checks on the OS partition will be scheduled for the next boot.
