    Windows 7 boot disk.

This is not the typical question, I've search for one like it on your site..

I am in the process of upgrading to a SSD harddrive...

I used the windows backup to create an image of my setup (on an external HDD) which went well..

Then i tried to create the boot cd/dvd and got an error just after it finished burning... I restarted my laptop to try again, and now it will not boot at all and is asking for the windows installation disk...

Onto my question... Since I have a full image of my old system backed up, is there some way I can get a 'boot disk' just to get me far enough to be able to 'restore' from this image?

Thanks for any help possible. Really stuck here!

Here's the error I'm now receiving..

    WOW

    Thanks so much...

The boot disk worked a treat..

It booted, realised there was a 'boot' issue automatically, corrected it, and then restarted for me with all issues resolved..

    Very impressive.

    Thanks for your help.
