Startup recovery not helping

    Uhm nevermind that... I needed to type the model number like... WD3200BEVT.

    Yep... dumb mistakes.

    Quick scan returned. Error code: 0007
    That result by itself tells me to replace the drive.

    Running an extended scan. I'll post the results asap.

    Error code: 0223
    WD Support / Knowledge Base / Diagnostic Error Codes

    Apparently the diagnostic fixed the problem?

    Should I run more tests?

    Looks like this is going in the right direction :)
    I'd run Chckdsk to make sure W7 thinks it is allright too now...

    Says no errors. But there are still bad sectors listed. I'm still very much considering a repair from Sony.

    How many bad sectors? Does it run ok after this chckdsk?
