Can I save Partitions from different drives to one large drive ?

And be able to copy it back in case I need a restore or backup ?
I am now copying my C partition to a extra HDD. I do the same with my storage HDD. That goes to another drive as well. So I'd like to save both Partitions to a large drive in case of a crash, etc. It might be easier handling one large external drive then two like I do now.

    Hi.

Just copying the partition won't work. You need to image it. Try Macrium Reflect....its easy and flawless for this sort of thing. If you ever have a crash, all you need to do is restore that image back again. Store the images on an external HDD.

Copying partitions has improved and works fine now with most modern partitioners, Paragon, Aomei partition assistant, partition wizard. They all do a great job. It will save space if you make images instead, though they obviously need to be restored before you can do much.

If you want to make images, macrium is popular, and there is an excellent free one from Aomei

I've been using Macrium Free and to copy the partitions to an external drive and I like it alot. I paid $50 for paragon's H & R 2012 and it doesn't work well at all but the Marcium did and much easier too.
