System Backup with no extra drives

I would like to make a full system backup. I don't have an extra drive on the system.

My plan was to do create the system backup and then have my backup software (Crashplan) back that up to the network.

When I try to set up the backup, Windows tells me I need to back it up to a non-system drive.

Is there any way around this?

Save it on a different partition if you don't have one; create a new partition with a partition manager e.g. Easeus Partition Master Home Edition. Hope this help.
