Any future problems after Windows 7 Complete Recovery?

Hi everyone. Today my father bought a new Samsung RV520 Windows 7 Notebook. He was unable to work on Windows 7 & said me to install Windows XP for easy User Interface. So, I did it. But due to some unwanted errors, we both formatted the drive and after that Windows 7 did not boot. One of my friends said to perform Complete Recovery & I did so. All this took at least 4 hours and my father's work for the day stopped. He gave me a big lecture and he was fed up and in tension. I feel guilty & so asking that are there any future problems related to it or is there any hardware or software problem permanently created? Guys, I belong to a middle-class family & this was our second and last laptop. I am very much guilty. Please ensure me that is the laptop 100% as same as that in the SAMSUNG showroom or there a difference created. I am so fed up in tension.........

Hello goswami6, welcome to Seven Forums!

Sorry to see you having trouble, a question?

Did you get the factory Windows 7 running again without issue, if not you will have to look around at the links theog posted above to get that sorted?

If you were able to get the factory Windows 7 running again, there will be no issues at all with the way you recovered to the factory load, that should not be a concern to you or your father.

Windows XP no longer has support from MS (or very soon will not) and it would be best for your father to learn to use Windows 7 as this is where the future is headed.
